The projects last sampling campaign took place over the last three weeks. The weather was tough, strong wind and waves tested us on numerous occasions. The cruise was carried on-board S/Y Oceania, a ship of the Institute of Oceanology, Polish Academy of Sciences. We started the cruise in Longyearbyen, then sailed northwards to Kongsfjorden where five sampling stations were located. Afterwards we sailed south, towards Norway, with breaks for sampling stations along the way. Due to bad weather we had to take shelter in Norwegian fjords but managed to reach Gdańsk on the 9th of September.
