Species description
Prostomium with three lobes and two small eyespots. Ventral surface of buccal segment with longitudinal folds. Branchiae in two groups slightly separated at middorsum and connected at bases by a dermal brim. Four branchiae of each group arranged in two transverse rows. Paleae small, shorter than normal bristles. 16 thoracic segments with notopodia with capillary chaetae, the posterior 13 also with neuropodia with uncini. Abdomen with 14-15 uncinigerous segments, some with rudimentary notopodia. Pygydium with two lateral cirri. Tube – a thin layer of secretion incrusted with a few sand grains. Silt, without incrustation.

In alcohol pale pink or whitish.
Habitat
Usually on clay or mixed bottoms. 50-3400m.

Sedentary.
