From the airport to the Venue location:
Option 1 – Direct Bus (No. 122)
- Direct route from the airport to Sopot (stop: Korty Tenisowe 02)
- Runs approximately once per hour
- Journey time: ~60 minutes
- Ticket price: 4.80 PLN
- Tickets can be purchased from the app, ticket machine at the airport bus stop (cash or card – VISA/MasterCard/Maestro)
- Take the train from Gdańsk Airport to Gdańsk Wrzeszcz (you will stop at platform 1 or 2)
- At Gdańsk Wrzeszcz, change to the usually painted yellow and blue SKM local train (platform 3, track 501) heading Gdynia, Rumia, Wejherowo — all SKM trains form track 501 stop in Sopot
- Total journey time: 65–80 minutes
- Note: separate tickets are required for each leg (regional train + SKM) From Sopot railway station (Sopot PKP):
- Walk to the Institute (~22 minutes), or
- Take Bus No. 187 (direction Dolny Sopot – Haffnera 01) from Sopot PKP 02 to stop Korty Tenisowe 02 (~13 minutes) – separate ticket
By Train
Sopot is easily accessible by train, with both direct and connecting services from various European cities. Long-distance trains in the Tri-City area stop at: Gdańsk Główny, Gdańsk Wrzeszcz, Sopot, Gdynia Główna. Train schedule: https://www.intercity.pl/en/
From Sopot Station:
- Walk (~22 minutes), or
- Take Bus No. 187 (direction Dolny Sopot – Haffnera 01) from Sopot PKP 02 to Korty Tenisowe 02 stop (~13 minutes)
By Ferry
Daily ferry services (2–3 times/day) operate between Karlskrona (Sweden) and Gdynia (Poland) via Stena Line (https://www.stenalinetravel.com/routes/gdynia-karlskrona0
From Gdynia Public Ferry Terminal:
- Take Bus 133 (direction Płyta Redłowska 02)
- At Wzgórze Św. Maksymiliana SKM06, transfer to the SKM train toward Gdańsk Śródmieście or Gdańsk Główny (the same direction)
- Get off at Sopot, then either walk (~22 min) or take Bus No. 187 (direction Dolny Sopot – Haffnera 01) from Sopot PKP 02 to Korty Tenisowe 02 stop (~13 minutes)
