Fernando Aguado Gonzalo

I am a third-year Ph.D student at the International Environmental Doctoral School under the umbrella of the University of Silesia (Poland). I have a master in Marine Geosciences from the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel (Germany) specialized in marine geochemistry and paleoceanography and I studied bachelor’s degree and a master in marine sciences at the University of Vigo (Spain)

Projects

• PROSPECTOR (do Permafrost-Released OrganicS amPlify ocEan aCidificaTiOn in the aRctic?) project as Ph.D. It is financed by the NCN (National Science Center in Poland) and carried out at the IO PAN, principal investigator: Prof. Karol Kuliński. Since 01/02/2021.
• RAW (glaciers Retreat And fjords Wither) organized by the Institute of Geophysics of Polish Academy of Sciences (IGF PAS) and financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, led by Prof. Łukasz Stachnik. Since 01/05/22.
• SURETY (Effect of organic matter SURface layer Enrichment on air-sea gas transfer velociTY) financed by the NCN and carried out at the IO PAN, principal investigator: Prof. Jacek Piskozub. Since 01/10/2022.
• ANALOG ( Influence of rapidly progressing climate change on polar marine organisms - investigations along naturally occurring environmental analogues of future climate change) funded by the NCN and conducted at the IO PAN, project leader: Prof. Piotr Kukliński. Since 01/05/2019.
